Coping With Change

Change

Even though graduation was less than a year ago, it seems much longer. A lot has changed for me was moving out of my parents home.
Right before school started, my sister and I bought a condo. It was quite challenging adapting to the responsibilites of paying all the bills and managing my money wisely.
Not only did I have to get use to being on my own, but school quickly began, and added more stress to my new life. I attend school twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'm currently taking twelve credit hours. On the days that I'm not a school, I work. I am a sales associate at Burlington Coat Factory in the baby department.
With my new schedule and responsibilites, I sometimes find it hard to keep in touch with my friends, and even with my family. However, I do get to see them a few times a month.
Making sure that the bills are paid on time, homework is finished, grades are up, and keeping my department manageable at work is a lot for someones stress level to handle. But I have gotten used to it all in the last few months.
Moving away was scary but exciting all at the same time! At the time I didn't know what I was getting into but is has been a great experience for me.
Hopefully all these changes that I have some how adapted to will be helpfull in all aspects of my future.
One way that I cope with stress is to think of how fortunate I am, even though everything may be going down the drain, you always have to remember that someone else is going through a harder time than you.
Also I go visit my family, it helps take my mind off all the crazy things going on in my life; and the also give me support.
